We're looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer to architect and implement core gameplay mechanics for Ashen Rift and future projects. You'll work closely with design and art teams to bring creative visions to life through clean, performant code.

What you'll do.

Key responsibilities and day-to-day impact.

Design and implement gameplay systems including combat, movement, and player progression
Collaborate with designers to translate game mechanics into technical specifications
Optimize systems for performance across PC and console platforms
Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
Contribute to technical documentation and coding standards

Requirements

What you'll need.

Essential skills and experience for this role.

5+ years of professional game development experience with shipped titles
Expert proficiency in C++ and modern game engines (Unreal Engine 5 preferred)
Strong understanding of game architecture patterns and data-driven design
Experience with multiplayer systems and network programming
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
